FAQs

  • As I am just starting out with my art business, I am still trying to figure out the logistics, including the best way to set up shipping through my website. If you live in Atlanta, you may reach out or look at my Instagram for original art that may be available to be received in person. I will also try to attend art fairs here and there, so subscribe to stay updated!

  • Yes and no. As an artist, I want to make sure you are always receiving the best possible work from me as possible. If I feel like I might not be able to provide that to you because of lack of skill, time, or other reason, I must politely decline your request.

  • I scan my watercolors at home and edit them with Procreate. Then I send the digital files to online services to have them printed. All of my art uses giclee printing to get the highest quality reproduction. Giclee prints use a high resolution inkjet printer using pigment-based inks on archival-level paper, allowing for a beautiful image that can stand the test of time. As a result, the printing costs are higher.

  • No, I never went to an art school or was taught by an instructor. I have been entirely self taught, although I have attended a few workshops here and there to learn from more experienced artists!

  • Unlike art you might find at a store like Target, original art is not a reprint—it is exactly what it is described as: the original, unique piece of art handmade by the artist. There can only be one in existence! If an artist spent 6 hours painting a piece on minimum wage, that totals to almost $45 (although I hope you’d want to pay artists more than a minimum wage because that only makes $15k a year). Then a lot of factors go into the cost of an original piece—time spent, materials used, skill required, whether a frame or mat is included, etc.

  • Yes! I attend some markets/fairs on occasion. Follow my Instagram or view the Events page on my website to see where I’ll be next.
